We’ve already seen quite a few Rusty Lake games that fascinated us with their intricate storylines and peculiar atmosphere. Now there is a new mysterious adventure we are going to take part in and it’s called The White Door. We play for a man named Robert Hill. He ended up in a medical clinic of the same name as the game, in which he woke up without memory. Colors almost ceased to exist for him – most of the setting is a white-gray-black location, where only occasionally come across colorful objects. With each passing day (there are several of them), the sad story of the protagonist becomes clearer to the player.
There are 2 endings in the story, one of which is secret. The game is made with a very interesting interface: the player has two screens, divided among themselves. On the left screen, we monitor the movements of the character, and on the right there are objects that we can interact with. Like other games in the Rusty Lake series, this one has puzzles and a lot of them. They are not very complicated, but can take a few minutes to solve, especially further into the plot line.
At the end of each day, we are shown a small interactive cutscene that explains the plot of the game. As you proceed through the locations from one episode to another, you’ll understand more and more about what’s going on. In general, White Door turned out to be good, even despite some uniformity. It has an interesting, intriguing, mysterious, but small plot. It takes a few hours to complete which means it’s rather suitable for a calm free evening. This is definitely something that can be advised to all lovers of leisurely puzzles! Are you one of them? Play an unblocked version of the game and see for yourself!
